Last week, I purchased a fan for the office on Amazon. Since there were dozens of fans to choose from, I selected the one with over 2,000 reviews from buyers like me. Within a day after receiving the fan, I received a request from the vendor for a testimonial, offering a $20 gift card in return.
Don't misunderstand, Amazon allows review solicitation, but Google and many of the other directories/search engines do not. My point is if this vendor was willing to return 25% of the product price for online reviews, why are you not taking your business reputation to the next level?
